and they said sure, SO they didnt rip them off, they asked permission they liked the song but had thier own way of doing it in thier head and wanted to. Personally i like the music in the Crazy towns better similar yes but i like it better. For the record I am a fan of RHCP and not Crazy town. Just spreading knowledge.

Ok. I'ved seen some major stupidity in here. First, people have said that you can use someone else's music and have no penalty's. You can either use something that is like the original...or get permission to use the original. Same thing Vanilla Ice did with that Queen bass riff. If you use the exact original without permission you can get sued. Second...Crazy Town did not "steal" this riff. They asked permission. I'm not saying I like it....I thing Crazy Town did an awful performance.

I actually heard the Crazy Town version first, thought it was awful, and my first impressions were confirmed when I listened to the rest of the album. Sorry in advance to their fans, but I despise 'douchecore' bands that mix uninspired rock with terrible "rapping."
