I can understand people don't want it with how slow 3g is in the states. You see sub 1mbit speeds on 3g nets! How fast is 4g LTE on Verizon? Where I live you get 4 mbit speed, 5 gig/month cap, 6 month binding, incl phonecalls, free tethering, messaging and so on for $17 a month including 25% sales tax and it still only 3g....

I think what both the media and Apple don't understand is that most Verizon customers don't really want the iPhone. Most VZ users who wanted touch smart phones paid hundreds for android phones, and really do not care about the iPhone any more. Verizon themselfs said months ago that Android phones have negated any real need to have the iPhone on there network.

They probably only got the iPhone on there network to steal a few ATT iPhone customers... who all ready have the current model, and...

the reason the line is so small is obvious. PEOPLE HAVE BRAINS. ergh, at least most do....while the iphone on verizon is outstanding, it doesn't go on their 4g LTE network. If you use your brain, you will wait and get an android device such as the Thunderbolt on verizon's 4g network. I mean, verizon's 4g network will be as fast, if not faster than most people's home networks. Or you can wait forever until apple grows a brain and creates an iphone that will work on verizon's 4g LTE network.

Anyone having trouble viewing cnettv? Since the beginning of this week, its video is extremely choppy and staggered. Loaded used to pay fine on cnet. Now, it will take 20 secs to play, play for about 5 secs, then freeze up for another 20-30 secs. I upgraded to Flash 10.2, but that hasn't affected playback on YouTube or video from anywhere else.
