I've watched both versions and honestly enjoyed them both equally, you need to watch the original before this one, the original it pretty much enhances the feel for the newer version. The music for this scene is amazing and you cannot tell me that when listening to the song you cannot picture this scene it captures the emotion of the scene.It may not be considered better than the original but it does a pretty damn good job with handling the emotion. And a fine job at making me shed manly tears

IMO, the original version (uploaded by CaptainHer0) is far superior. Not only isn't it rushed, but Shuu's speech and Kenshiro's emotions were delivered far better. Seriously, Kenshiro's "SHUUUUU!" and "SOUTHER, when I'm done with you, nothing will be left!" in the old version still send shivers down my spine. Akira Kamiya totally owns this new voice actor. Oh, and the soundtrack was also way better in the original. Seriously, what's up with the Christmas music in this version :-/?

LOL not to be a dick, but i have this movie. It was only released by ORION and it is only available on VHS. It is so graphic! Heads exploding every 5 minutes, makes Akira look like childrens play. The dubs are not as good as the original japanese, of coarse. But yea... it did come to America! LOL long time ago.... the 80's. Epic movie. :)
