I live near Valleyfair, and I think that the Artizan band organ is just the facade, and it has speakers inside the case (the large black part in the front of the facade is fabric covering up speakers where there should be pipes).
I only know of three existing organs of this type (model unknown), made either by North Tonawanda or Artizan depending upon who you ask. I think all three have been converted to Wurlitzer rolls making identification slightly more difficult. This model is not listed in any catalogs I know of.
The other two are located on the carousels at Castle Park, Riverside, CA [Dentzel]; and Carousel Center Mall, Syracuse, New York [PTC]. None of these organs currently play, so I don't know how they sound.
Damn shame. My school threw a party on the last day of school where we would all go, but when found out the band organ on the carousel didn't work, I refused to go.
Cedar Fair should get the organ working.
Especially with people being extremely annoying on the carousel for those of us who enjoy them for what they.
no music? How extremely lame. They have a North Tonawanda/Artizan band organ, why don't they use it?

A carousel with no Band Organ music has no soul.

They have an organ, and they occasionally use it, if it's working, see other videos - they show it working.

I stand corrected. The Artizan hasn't been gutted, though it has been converted to play style 150 WurliTzer rolls.
The Kiddie Carousel has a WurliTzer 103/105, but I have no idea id it plays or not.
Shame it isn't working, though.
