pieces of a pasted sticker on Kaneda bike(AKIRA) is Naritasan temple sticker.
(Japanese character is 成田山)
Why does Kaneda pasted sticker on his bike, because Naritasan temple grace is traffic safety grace.and a Naritasan temple have many other kinds of graces.
(PS.Naritasan temple does not sell Bike sticker.Kaneda's Naritasan temple sticker is only in manga)
Thank you for sharing this with us. I know there are many types of Buddhism. This one ,you mention looks interesting . I hope you will go back to this temple.
As always a great vid. I love seeing the places in Japan that you show us. You're very knowlegable too so in a way you're teaching us about Japan. Very sugoi! Looking forward to your next videos. Korekaramo ganbatte kudasai!
This is quite a neat video; I remembered earlier from my semester that my professor taught the class (us) a little about Buddhism. I was a little bit more interested in Zen Buddhism since it focused on meditation and the path to Satori. Although the Koans seem to be a little bit confusing if you do not really make the effort to understand it. ^^; Nevertheless, when I do go to Japan one day, I hope I could visit these shrines while I am there.
is it the type of Buddhism where they hit you with the stick?

when the rain starts suddenly, do all those flags and other accessories get taken inside, or are they left to get wet?
