Oh God, yes, I remember, when football was fun and we had characters like Brian Clough. Man management the old way, like Shankley used to do it. Now all the Premier managers - SAF, Wenger etc etc are up their own arses and take themselves sooooo seriously.

I remember in the late 70's, I'd be in a nightclub in Nottingham & always the only person with me at the bar was John Robertson. This was quite often on a Friday night. He'd skin defenders the next day though. A forgotten man until Clough came along but for a time I think he was the best winger in the world. You couldn't afford to blink or he'd be past you.

If he was England boss it wouldnt be a matter of if he would win the world cup. It would be a case of how many.
