I must say it did bring a faint tear to my eye when this final scene aired, It was the the last time we would see these great characters of this terrific show. Some shows when we see them in reruns are like dropping in on old friends. That's what this show was like every week. It is sorely missed in this sea of reality trash.

Lots of the characters on the show got a proper ending, I especially think in their personal life. But the character Carter still stands pretty open, cause we dont know what happened next to him other than he came back to the emergency room. And even if it kills me that we didnt get to see that he had a family to come home to, I think its kind of symbolic. It kind of shows that ER was the only secure thing in Carters life, and where he truly belonged. He starts there and ends there.

Desde que ER cambio de productor no volvio a ser lo mismo!!!! nada como personajes entrañables de las primeras temporadas como Mark Greene! Carol, Dr Ross! Benton, Corday, Romano.. incluso personajes de antes cambian drasticamente como Weaver!! o que se quedan estancados como Luka o Abby :-( al menos yo esperaba mas; aun asì.. AMO ER!!! =)
