  • And they put some airheads on TV who do nothing but repeat soundbites while true journalists roam the blogs.

Has anyone noticed that what most of these tv journalists do these days is read blogs for fresh news?

  • you're from Raleigh?! I live in NC!!

  • I have a sudden urge to punch you in the head... And I'm not a violent person.

  • Excellent!

I laughed OUT LOUD, at that Futuristic Dialog!

*My having laughed out loud might not sound like much,

but I, for one, am very discriminatory as to what I laugh at.

  • Hear, hear!

  • ironically, the first related video on the side os an 0:08 video response

  • Terrific, engage We The People in the process.

  • keep up the good work.

  • This video made me think; thank you. :)

  • YouTube and other virtual communication may broaden the number of people reached by politicians, but it still benefits those of us who have the resources, both economic and social, to access and understand the internet and computers.

  • I'm glad I subscribed to your videos, and I am enjoying them so far. Always a bit of humor mixed with a bit of reality. The major candidates seem to have mastered the art of the soundbyte, and most backing them have no idea what their stance is on most issues. In fact they often take no real stance because that alienates groups of voters. Soundbytes and music good/real policy bad...

  • maps in the kitchen . . . schweet. do I see 2 Germanies on that world map though?

  • I liked this video. New background was... weird, but I'll get used to it. Anyway, I agree. Sound bite politics simply cannot solve the problems we face as a nation, and it turns everyone off because it is BORING.

  • Another great cast. Could you explane why the first few states have such a large part in the primary process.

  • I think the avoidance of politics has to do with more than the bland soundbites--ever notice how the characters in the sitcoms and dramas we watch are almost never involved in political issues? I saw a counterexample in an old Bewitched...

  • Sickness IS bad! You have my vote!

  • Lol, health good sickness bad, that's funny James (It really is). Unfortunatly, I sometimes find that politicians don't say much more, though they can stretch it out for awhile. Keep it up man, its all great stuff.

  • New background...cannot cope! *explodes*

  • ec - good vid. you're right - soundbite politics gets us nowhere, and youtube can empower us to push our leaders to be more authentic. keep up the thoughtful commentary, i'm a big fan.

  • With the advent of the internet, the media is no longer the only place to go for information.

    God bless James Kotecki.
