@TomBVoxman Lisa Coleman is the one playing the organ in this clip. She and Wendy Melvoin still record together, score TV & films and do a radio show. They just won an Emmy in August for creating the "Nurse Jackie" theme song. Wendy & Lisa's Youtube channel is called "girlbros." From the interviews I've seen, they have immense respect for Neil as a songwriter/musician.

On a more serious note... I don't find it very respectful towards an artist's efforts to always be cross referencing them with former colleagues.

Wendy and Lisa have released a total of 5albums (the 5th released yesterday, I believe) have countless collaborations with several artists under their belt and are responsible for the soundtrack in the hit TV Show HEROES. They credit extends far beyond than having played in "Purple Rain".

Wow! I was at this concert! It's one I'll never forget, as I only really went there to see Wendy and Lisa play. A few of the crowd were shouting to W & L to play some of their stuff, which Neil was quite willing to let them do, but she looked embarrassed and declined the offer! Shame!

No Sax - This was a stunning gig, Neil played all night with Wendy and Lisa, and at one point, tried to get Lisa to play a song, but she wasnt up for it. Wendy and Lisa both contributed to neil Finn's solo cd "One Nil". The whole gig is recoreded and in existanxce...but under lock and key :-(
