omg people who dl pirate stuff and are caught face a harder charge than people who are caught doing something like snatching a purse from an old lady. Most people that dl things is because they rather put food on their table than spend 10 dollars plus refreshments that ends up being 20 dollars at times per person and then add the transportation in there. People don't have that type of money now imagine a family of 4 trying to do that how the hell will they afford food? seriously...
Qunatum of solace sucked you deserve to have your crap movie pirated. besides you are Producer, you don't have shit to do with art, you are all about cash money mf. Fuck you and fuck that sell out jonathan ross that gets paid £mils to give shit movies 5 star ratings.
findanyfilm [dot] com, yeah that really helps. If they really wanna do something about the piracy maybe they should start by making all content reasonably priced and available on demand. Almost all results on findanyfilm are mail-order DVDs, and if its downloadable (having the icon they so proudly show) it is most of the time only the trailer
People should understand that we download movies for free because we can't afford to go out and buy all those movies that are out there. Good luck catching the man with no money.
I've never downloaded a film that I would have gone to see in the theaters.
It's the crap movies that people are no longer going to... Get a bad review and no one will waste there time seeing a film that costs $10.50 per seat.
Lukychmz you are absolutely right! If most of the movies that came out now a days I might consider to actually go see them. However, at $8.50 for a student ticket, plus popcorn and a drink that ends up being around 15 bucks. Honestly, that's pretty ridiculous. I would rather preview the movie beforehand and then buy the DVD when it comes out. I have no need to see the movie in theaters. I hate that smell of movie theater popcorn anyway.
Oh piracy is killing the movie industry??. I thought it was the shit movies constantly spewed out by movie studios and being charged $4 for a drink at the movie..but hey what do I know. How much were they paid for this "informative" piece...
@lukychmz | the film industry is not dying. stop affirming mpaa propaganda. this has nothing, or little, to do with prices and purchasing power or with movie quality. This is about power and control.

Saying that copying a file is a crime is the same as saying that sex is a crime - in around a year most of the world will become a criminal society.

$4 a drink? where are you at?
At my local theater in Delaware it's $5 for a small (incrementing 50cents each size up) and popcorn starting at $6.50 for a small.
I feel like i'm getting robbed every time i feel compelled for a tasty beverage...
