No, I don't think that there's much chance of this catching on because 1, the screen has to be tiny, 2, headphone wires would be constantly getting in the way, 3, the amount of people wearing watches is rapidly decreasing.

May be they would be better but it doesn't change my point considering the physical size would have to increase for a bigger screen, the headphone wires - where would they go hey? Probably dangle annoyingly in front of you, pulling the headphones out of your ears as soon as you reach too far.
