how do you do a 100% run on this game?? when you go back time you have to do those quests all over again right?? with the dungeons and all the quests and the going back and forth with time how do ppl do a speedrun +100%??

@tokee1234567 I know I'm kinda late on this, but this is how Majora's Mask works; basically once you completely finish a sidequest, such as the Anju and Kafei sidequest, you NEVER have to do it again on that playthrough of the game. Once you use the Song of Time, you keep all items (except a select few, such as Deku Nuts, Sticks, Arrows, ect.), Masks, Heart Pieces collected. You do however, lose all rupees that are not deposited in the bank, no idea how money in a bank can avoid time-reversal.

Ah, I always wanted to save Romani... that's something this game does that's both kinda cool and kinda sad. You realize you can't save everyone every time...you're just one guy and you have to make decisions about what you're going to do.

Also really liked cheering that guy up on the last day like that...again, kinda sad, but the bunny hood is definately worth the effort. Glad to see that the new Zelda has a run button as opposed to needing to roll all the time.

The bunny hood is so useful like chasing the Deku Shrub after the first temple is pretty much imposible without it.

One of those items is pretty much useless because sure it gives you infinite magic but your getting it on the third day and it dosn't carry over. Also you can just buy it after you get the cow mask for 200 rupees.

Also whatever the bird steals you'll get back in the next cycle.

Wow thats cool I didn't know you could get there this early in the game.

the bird that steals your items can also steal your sword, and then you have to buy them back from the shop by the bank in town. If you kill the bird it drops an orange rupee though.. which i think is worth 200.. either 200 or 500, can't remember.. if you didn't know ^^

That part when the bird colided with you was pretty funny. I jumped when it just WHAMMED into you, too! That cucco march was a fun time for me. It was tedious, but the music was catchy, at least. At least you got that done before the vid reached the limit.

@halo3ameture Yeah, I lost my sword to that bird once, myself. I was like WTF?!?! By then, I didn't know you could go to the curiousity shop to BUY it back, so I just played the Song of Time and restarted the cycle. I got my sword back, though. Then again, that was long ago.

I think you are thinking too much about this. Yes, you could make the argument that in this scene, it's never directly stated up front, but it doesn't state up front that it isn't the same either. I say until there is concrete evidence you should only go by what the game wants you to assume.

@weckar actually, even though its a late reply, its actually your horse from hyrule, see what happened was the basic temporal theory going into place, since 2 links cant exist in the same universe that also goes for epona, itd be like, bringing a rock from tomarrow, and placing it by the same rock from today, they would merge and become one rock, thats also why there isnt a alternate link, since he walked through, the other link was replaced by him, epona of this world was replaced by hyrulian

Funny thing about that Thieving Bird. If you manage to actually kill him, he'll drop a whopping 200 rupees. The problem is that he can withstand ludicrous amounts of punishment. The most effective way to kill it that I've found is to peg it off from a safe distance using any magical arrow. He goes down in 5 hits from any of them.
