Rods are no longer an issue of debate. This is an issue people need to educate themselves on.
If everyone were given high definition high speed cameras all of these videos of rods would reveal insects.
Another possibility is the idea that rods are photographic aberrations created by the cameras themselves.
No one can fight back with, "it's possible."
If you want to make this a probability contest, simple insects flying close to the lens win.
