Cool CGI, but its too "fancy" explodish. Tsunami are like this endless flowing force, it doesn't slam in like a hurricane. They suck out SLOWLY, then just force their way back in. This was way too fast both ways.

Take a look at videos from Patong Beach, Phuket, Tailand, 2004.

You will see the same ferocious wave from different angles and vantage points.

It's the topography of the coast line that creates different rates of flow resistance and wave heights. In Phuket, the waves were slowed down abruptly by underwater friction of the coast and as the water in the front of the wave slowed, the back part of the huge wave piled on top and crested as it hit the shore causing a devastating punch effect upon t
