Her recording of this piece is just amazing. I can only think how lucky the people in that room are to have even felt the passion and emotions that she was expressing while playing this piece. It is utterly amazing, I feel like I've received some kind of courage.

Oh thank you YT and davidavid2009- without you I would never have heard of this incredibly gifted artist, and I mean ARTIST! She is certainly no automaton, despite an astounding technique- she has a real feeling and understanding of the music, which is rare.

She seems relatively unknown outside Europe but I hope that changes! If anything, she will always have the best hair! :)

She's just 22 or 23 and so much heart and imagination in her music she's amazing.....

Imagin argerich at Lim's age.....just can't be compared. Even now argerich does not touch my soul. She has great technic and all stuff but.....when I listen to LIM and this Rachmaninov, I just melt like an ice cream.....and that's the real diffrence between them for me.

I don't wanna compare this pianist to anyone (maybe to Horowitz playing Scriabin....or Cortot playing Chopin......) The way she makes the music is incomparable, she touches my heart a lot and that, that is the most important. Very unique.

I think the major diffence is that Lim has the grace. Her pianism and touch is light and graceful yet very powerful without sounding hard like argerich. Her hair is really beautiful yes.....I wonder why argerich doesn't stretch and arrange her hair or maybe see a hairdresser....

She reminds me argerich (young cuz now she's unwatchable) but upgraded and much more beautiful :

cuz her hair is so smooth like silk and not frizzy. Lim've got the womanish charm and specially the grace of the touch.

But the important thing is that she is musician and knows to touch the heart by the music.
