Fairuz, regardless of what ethnicity she is, is a gifted & beautiful singer. I don't understand arabic, but I still love to listen to her, especially the Baghdad song.

With that said, Fairuz is Not an Arab, sorry if anyone doesn't like that, but she is of Christian Maronite heritage & religion, and most Maronites Do not like being called Arabs, & actually admit to their Assyrian/Syriac roots, aside from the ones who claim to be Phoenicians. Neither of them are Arabs.
