Also note, big black hole and small black hole are not correct terms, infact they make no sense. a blackhole is a blackhole, there is no real SIZE, infact it's infinitely tiny. The MASS however is large or small.
A black hole with the mass of the sun will not alter our planet's orbits - thus it wont suck them up. Black hole mass = sun mass = same mass both ways = no change. However chances are, if the sun DID collapse suddenly into a blackhole after expelling some of it's mass into a nova; you'd be left with a black hole with a lower mass than the sun, so planet's orbits would change, but they still wouldn't be brought any closer.
