Actually there was no conspiracy between Denmark and Sweden in 2004. Both teams were equally strong so a 2-2 result wasn't strange or unrealistic at all. Only some Italians obsessed with the idea of underhand dealings, perhaps because there is so much corruption in Italian football, insisted that there must have been some sort of secret deal. Danes and Swedes are rivals and have always been.
