it's amazing when a young girl or a life has been lost in the downtown eastside there moms ,sisters cousins,and the greatest aunty's ever..we all live life 2 survive...but we need 2 respect the ones have past...i know i have..my cousin was one of them...and yes that was a SHOCK!i love every human being that has 2 make a living one way or another....BLESS YOUR SOULS MY SISTERS on the eastside.........

These pictures put faces to the names you hear. What hurts is knowing that when the photo was taken they had no clue how their life would turn out. What scares me most is that their fate could be anyones. Women can be grabbed and taken anywhere at anytime. There is no way to stop somebody intent on doing evil to you. You can only be aware of your surroundings yet you cant live in fear.

she was beaten, raped & left for dead

5 million women are missing in India. The total number is actually 50 million women missing in India. And what are the total numbers worldwide? It's up to Governments across the World to recognize this issue and to improve lives in poor regions, so social services and police are able to reduce the numbers of missing and abused women as much as possible.

I didn't remember there being this many victims. No way Pickton would have gotten away with so many murders if those women had been middle class white ladies instead of street people.

I have an Aunty in Canada and she told me of the outcome. At last they can rest in peace. Those young women should never have been taken from this world the way they did. I will always ask why is there hatred in this world. The answer will alway be silent.

I knew one of the girls she was my cousin we called her smiley one the street ,when i found out she was missin I was shocked , she was such a strong person and had such strong personality. Pray for her and the other PEOPLE every day. Love always charlie

That was well presented. They were and will always be beautiful no matter how the media presented them. They were someones Mother, daughter and sister. They were Human beings!.
