this incredible app works exactly as i hoped it would.

considering how much it does, its learning curve is really just fine.

battery usage is only what android gps usage demands, obviously gps uses power!

it is especially nice on the big screen of my htc/sprint evo.

lastly, its author/owner is genuinely interested in helping; he returns emails with answers! plus, the product is cheap!

it is the best bargain in the android marketplace.

I bought the Droid hoping that I could take advantage of the screen for an offline gps application both for backpacking and for elk hunting. Nothing worked like I wanted until BCNav! This is awesome and makes downloading maps really easy from the phone without needing a computer. I normally download the maps after we leave town and are headed for the hills. Since I've had the phone, this is the only app I've purchased and it is worth every penny. Buy this app!

Very useful app. Used when grouse hunting in place of my Garmin, great to be able to have access to topo maps when (way) outside cell service areas. HTC EVO.

Archos 5: I use Back Country Navigator for geocaching and hiking around Mont Saint Hilaire. Great selection of maps, excellent support.

I have used this program with Grade 5 students to learn how to use topographic maps while backcountry hiking in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is a great program, and is improving constantly because the programmer is so dedicated. Seriously worth EVERY penny and gets better every week. i run it on a Samsumg Galaxy S on SaskTel.

I have a Droid and though I'm still learning to use this application, so far I like it a lot. I have the Maptec Topo maps for Oregon and twice now I've found hiking trails on your application topo maps the aren't on the one I paid amost a 100 bucks for. Keep up the improvements and the good customer service. Love it man.

Verizon Droid Incredible - I have been completely satisfied with this app for all my navigating needs in the back country where there is no cell coverage. The developer listens to feedback and is constantly adding functionality. GREAT APP!

Droid X -Great app, I use this to record my 4WD off road trips.

I have been using a Dell x51v and Mapopolis (which they quit work on quite a while ago). Until now, I had not found a good replacement and had been using mapopolis for a long time and it recorded my trips very well. I had to do some work in Excel to plot my data but it worked.This is the first program I have found to suit my off road mapping and recording and it may be the end of my mapopolis days and editing the files. Thanx!
