  • i lurvs glowing brakes :D

  • These cars were at the 2011 Montreal Grand Prix and I got to see them race about 5 feet away from me. They are very beautiful, loud and fast. That is until the F1 cars come out...

  • bitchslap got bitchslapped!

  • @marek0086 true. 70/30 is an average.

  • @19bozzy92 no problem man. I love sharing my knowledge of these amazing cars. I work in a shop and we dont get anything like this in there. But my.goal.one day is to be able to work with these beautiful pieces of art.

  • @calibred818 no they are an option on all the cars listed. At least a 5k pound option. carbon ceramics squeel like a pig at low temperatures so most dont even want them.

  • @thaurusfury no. its normal. Even in everyday road cars the front to rear ratio is 70% braking in the front and 30% in the back

  • @josh3152896~ It could be 80/20

  • @19bozzy92 calipers hold the brake pads and use a piston with 2k+ psi to push the pad on to those large carbon ceramic brakes. Never is there caliper on rotor. Or there would be no rotor if you hit the brakes at these speeds

  • @josh3152896 Thanks for the information!

  • first one to dislike..

  • Is this track monza, Or is it another track.

  • @prodigistics yes it's Monza

  • im a car noob but doesnt this greatly wear down the rotor and pads? Or are they really that high end brakes made of some really strong material?

  • those glowing brakes gave me an orgasm

  • i have an erection. thanks alot

  • @82bitchslap ehehe Thanks for watching it!

  • 430 was flying

  • bad ass video

  • @TheSocalpunk88 Thanks! :D

  • Do they glow because of the friction?? srry dont know much about cars..

  • @Marionet64 yes, because of the friction between the brake pads (calipers) and the disk

  • @19Bozzy92 do all car breaks glow like that while stepping on the brakes at high speed, and is that normal? no danger of the pads breaking or melting..

  • @Marionet64 All car brakes could glow but you saw them glowing especially on the car that are driving very fast on a race track, where the brakes are constantly (and hardly) used. The risk of melting the pads when you're braking is not to be conidered, because the melting temperatures are too high to be reached(you have to consider that the brakes, even when you're braking, are in contact with the air, that cools them).

Those temperatures could be reached when the brake disks are tested.

  • @Marionet64 Those brakes is ceramic brakes. they glow all the time its used, and its used mostly for formula one cars, but it is now used in most supercars, because they are muuch more efficient then regular brakes. and these do glow all the time its used, evan in lower speeds. regular brakes doesnt.

  • Why only the front discs burn like the hell instead the rear ones doesn't? this car has a different brake distribution? i apologize for my bad english :)

  • Great clip... this car is AWESOME !!! <3

... we can hear the sound of Hell !!!

  • @ThunderlightXX Thanks!

  • Maybe it's just me.. but that 430 came in extra hot and i didn't think it was going to make the turn

  • @10MB91 yeaa HAHA even though he did have the best lines of all the others

  • these 458 challenge would look really awesome if fitted with a rear wing, plus it would look like the GT3 version of said car

  • So this is what heaven is like

  • Are the brakes stocks?

  • @overswagulationable Yes, Carbon ceramic brakes, all Ferrari's come stock with them, most 911's come stock with them. SLS AMG you can get them for 12 g's extra lol but they all glow like this..

  • Someone wanna explain to me how this occurs? I've always been curious

  • Are these 458 standard?

  • @MrAaronDuv They are the racing version of the street-legal version, but they haven't got a lot of modifications compared with the "normal" 458

  • @19Bozzy92 Thought so, because they sounded like they had been modified

  • @19Bozzy92 they just cost like they do.

  • @MrAaronDuv

Like the Ferrari 430 Scuderia and 360 stradale. A bit lighter, a bit faster and alot more expensive.

  • i love the 458s

  • MONZA !

  • จานแบรคแดงโหดสราดดดดดดดดดดด

  • I wonder how long do the brakes last?

  • It's spelt 'brakes'

  • Super video

  • wow look at em brakes

  • stupendi i i dischi incandescenti!! +1

  • What kind of speeds are they hitting on that main straight before braking like that??

looks close to 300km/h or so

  • @BETNCORT Oh well, on youtube there is an onboard lap with the 458 Challenge (recorded during the Ferrari Challenge racing weekend at Monza) and it says the speed before braking is around 290 km/h. ;)

  • This is Ferrari porn, the best hardcore porn of all automotive fashion. no fetish, just straight up pure car sex. Winning.

  • is this video taken at monza circuit?? :D
