This is probably my favorite CGR review. The reviewer clearly loves this game, and he doesn't share it in the cold, quantitative manner that most reviewers do. The words that he uses, and the footage that he shows, express his affection perfectly.

Oh man this game was amazing. The sequels never came close. :(

The story mode was very lenghy and REALLY worth playing through multiple times, but there was also a multiplayer mode against bots wich was amazing. Endless fun.

I kind of get tired with the curent gen fps-es with the ott control schemes, advanced graphics and missions. In a way, i preferred the last gen console fps-es where they aim for just plain fun and i miss that

I'm just mad because i'm finding out slowly that the Dreamcast had to die due to total lies of "fantastic" graphics for the PS2. It may be a good game, but the Dreamcast has them too. And on the graphics side... What the hell, Quake II's software rendering mode beats this from miles away with its 97' release. It is almost like an N64 game.

I really enjoy this game for ps2, the only problem i could say is without the auto aim feature, this game is almost unplayable, since the dircetions you can manually aim in feel like a grid.

Fantastic game, one of the best games I have EVER played...I've been playing it for I think about the 20th time this week on my PS3 and even though as Mark said the graphics are a bit dated it's just such a good game in every regard that you don't give a crap about the graphics.

Game runs very well on the PS3 if anyone is wondering whether they should pick this up for their backwards compatible PS3...

@mjsl3 Actually, The Saints Row series is a "prequel" to the Red Faction series, Red Faction takes place in 2075 on Mars, Saints Row 2 takes place in 2011 and Ultor is a mega corporation redeveloping Saints Row and all of Stilwater at the End of Saints Row 2 DLC: Corporate Warfare, Your character says "You guys can go to Mars for all i care" to Eric Gyrphon , and in Ultor Exposed there are EDF Scouts, Your guy asks "Where are they mining" and Tera replies "You wouldn't beleive me if i told you"
