Really nice song people...but his english accent is so way bad and funny...it would be better if he would sing in Norwegian..folk osngs are better in their native language and we all know that norwegian sounds so nice...like elves singing :)

Oh well, I have spoken to british people with way funnier accent (some of them you just can´t make out what the f**k they are saying), so I think he will be fine. His accent is fine, don´t you worry.

perhaps he got bad accent , but why did he win the mgp? He isn't acctuly so bad its just you who hear the bad accent. And thats because you are deaf in your ears

How come? Your greek part doesnt actually give you any benefit when it comes to speaking english with an accent you can be proud of. I have been in Greece plenty of times and with all respect, almost noone there have a good english accent. I also have heard some rumors about canadian english accent from people I know in US. Believe me, they are not very impressed. So, my opinion is that you are in no special position to diss others for their accent.

the thing is that all the non native speaking english people will never get a english accent, I 'm greek ,born in sweden , went to swedish school for 8 years and american school for 5 years.......to bad you can't hear my accent.......

Also I don´t think hearing your accent would benefit you at all. I am married to a greek woman and she´s an english teacher with Master´s degree in English here in Norway. What can I possibly learn from you?

Well, I do understand that of course. That´s so obvious that I didn´t really think we were discussing that. What I was talking about was people moving to an other country as adults or teenagers. Depending on their own language will almost always have problem speaking their second language as the native people do. Now I think we understand each other? Would love to hear your accent btw. :-) But, with your Swedish mother language (as I take it) I don´t think you will have problem with English
