  • @TheEndofdays311 who's the attention whore? Couldn't be the total stranger randomly writing aggressive shit on other people's tube channels?

  • awesome thanks for putting a profound teaching instead of just the usual retarded pisstake

  • Im so happy for you=) Take care!!!

  • This is beautiful. Thank you.

  • Thats beautiful CS :)

  • The title is wrong. A ritual is something practiced habitually. The only people disfellowshipped (shunned, as you call it) from the Christian congregation are those who rebelliously practice what is "defiled" from Gods standard in the scriptures. After help is offered to correct a person and they insist on practicing what is bad according to God, then the congregation must be protected. (1 Corinthians 5:9-13) “Remove the wicked [man] from among yourselves.”

This is GODs standard, not a ritual.

  • For some reason I can smell that barbeque. It is amazing the world of love out there. I have family who are JW's but would not shun us because, well, we are family. I always respected them for that. Oh, and that joker telling you that your family is cross-eyed..seriously? Really dude, seriously?

  • Hey bro, i like your video... Good message for any ex JW! I've been disfellowship twice, when i was 18 and 20... I'm 25 now and will never go back. My parents are the only JW's in my family, but the rest of my family is in Mexico. When I was disfellowship, my dad who at the time was a ministerial servant, told me at 18 (a month away from my high school graduation) to leave the house if i wasn't going to go to the meetings. So i left. VISIT MY CHANNEL TO SEE WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO SINCE! STAY UP :)

  • I've been an atheist for about a year now and I still haven't come out because I know this is going to happen to me. I guess when I move out I'll give my family the old "I'm gay... loljk imma atheist! kthxbi!"

  • @TheEndofdays311 LMAO, your lame attempt at insulting me is hilarious. Keep it up, at least your amusing :-)

  • @CSTheApostate You get the same crappy comments from members as I do!LOL that's awesome! Do people react as bad as "TheEndofdays311" a lot or is he over the top? Ex Mormons don't seem to be quite as extreme- but then I count myself lucky that I didn't have to come out of the JW cult- everything about it is Mormons just a little more extreme. Every Ex Jehovah's Witness gets HUGE respect in my eyes. Great video, I teared up. Love what you are doing, it is helping many people (including exmormons!)

  • @TheEndofdays311 why do Yankees walk around like they have a stick up their ass? Your generalizing and objectifying. What exactly does someone have to do to look retarded?

  • Great job Brother!!! I was a JW for 18.5 yrs (from birth on) and was never happier than when I left. No more judging of myself, but more importantly, others. That religion saps regard for your fellow humans away. It masks converting others with caring. They care only if they can convert. Poisonous religion as you know.

  • Bless you brother. Praise Him for blessing you to see the light. The vast majority are lost forever.

  • @DeeStinger1your sense of righteousness is amazing. . . must be good to look at another person and see yourself saved and the others damned. good job. you rock

  • I love how you say ''The Watchtower Cult'' its fuuny cuz it's true.

  • respect man

  • hey guys who replied to my comment! i appriciate the advice alot! and would like to keep in touch, if you could u can add me on facebook :) my emails earthsnow24@yahoo.com thanks brothers!

  • Thanks for sharing, I too am recovering from the social effects of my departure. I love the members of the organization and kindness therein, but the overpowering doctorinal belief holds many good hearted followers captive. I continue to pray that the governing body will receive the enlightenment needed to unite families back together in the spirit of love. Peace be unto you and your family with the utmost love.

  • Carl is a great dude.

Now that you are no longer a believer you can work on improving society so that workers can actually earn a living.

  • Dude - Great Message - Delivered perfectly. This is message is from someone who has been fighting the witness indoctrination now for the past 1.5 years. Dude - Not falling for it - Thanks - DAVID

  • You crackhead! Are you crazy or something? Don't smoke to much weed!It doesn't make sense at all.boring!

  • Thank you and well done for making an effort!

  • CS - your family and your new friends are the faithful REMNANT in your life that will go through all kinds of troubles with you till the end. God Bless You and your family!

  • Thank you. That was a great message. So warm and comforting. I also, loved all of the awesome pics. Especially the star trek scene. Well done. Best wishes :)

  • Wow! Great video!

  • יהוה

  • @puakeazelda i agree does everybody dis guy knows live in a trailorr

  • don t worry about a thing

  • now u got a cool ass black family!

  • When Jehovah's witnesses claim that there Elders and Ministerial Servants are appointed by HOLY SPIRIT and many they turn out to be PEDOPHILES then that makes Jehovah God a CHILD MOLESTER. And when I get hold of Jehovah and Jesus I am gonna SMACK their FACES IN. OK.

  • awesome!

  • Great Video - so very true.

  • Well done.

    Thank you!

  • jw's will eventually become like the residents of easter island. they will destroy & revolt against their culture, when they learn that their believes doesn't protect them any more than anybody else.

  • Thank you for sharing your experience .Very well done . It is encouraging to see how you have created a new 'family' life for yourself . You are a young man with a big heart !

  • i am a jehovahs witness i am 17 years old. and my brother has been disfellowshipped for a while now. hes 25 and i havent been able to talk to him in years since he left when he was about 18.

  • @earthsnow24: You forget. You are able to talk to him. There is just a group of men interpreting the scriptures for you that tell you otherwise. You wouldn't have left the comment if the urge to talk to your brother wasn't already in your heart, and we all remember what the scriptures say about that. ;) You would check on a worldly neighbor to make sure they were OK if you didn't see them for a while. Do what is in your heart, and if an elder huffs and puffs at you tell him that it is...

  • a family matter. If checking on the welfare of your family isn't a family matter, what is? And if someone tells you that you're too young and underage to make those kind of decisions, then ask them why underage people are allowed to get baptized, because that's way more serious then checking on a worldly relative. :)

  • So cool Bro.... I love ya Man! take Care Brother!

  • good video

  • Beautiful, and so true. Thank you CS.

  • its YAHWEH YHWH (LORD). get it straight! check-out my page.

  • We love ya Phin! Keep on shineing.. What a wonderful video...

  • What a powerful, life affirming testimony! Thank you for making this. Undoubtedly you have provided immeasurable comfort for the Watchtower wounded.

  • This was amazing. Thank you so much for this video. I don't even have words for it.

  • More Real Truth!

  • Good vid. You don't learn about unconditional love until you are free from the WT.

  • Thank god for people like Carl... Phin you are a truly blessed young man...and it has everything to do with your attitude..... we are all one.... we are all connected... in more ways than one..... *hugs*... your a good man!

  • This is a great message. I like the positive attitude you display.

Ex witnesses have a common link whether they Be Christian or Atheist or Agnostic. We are all linked by the things we experienced on the way out and dealing with the aftermath. Thanks for your contribution and effort to offer comfort to the suffering. ES

  • Awesome video CS. I really liked the attitude of finding one's own friends who one truly values, rather than sacrificing one's social life to the cult.

I've made awesome friends since I left the JWs. Most are atheists like me, some aren't, but we have a mutual respect for one another based on shared values.

  • I was at a bible study tonight that covered 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, and this video epitomizes verses 4-8:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails...

  • Great minds think alike, you know I'm an atheist like you are but I seriously have to question if something out there is driving the ex-JWs to make videos because not only did I have a similar idea but this exact song is what I wanted to use in the video.

  • @TimKilgore: Shhh. It's just Jung's idea of humanity's collective subconscious coalescing. What, you thought CS was kidding when he said we're not alone? Or wait, were you just thinking it? Damn. :D

  • @bananagraveyard I actually do think there is a collective subconcious.

  • @TimKilgore From my personal experience I do as well. A collective subconscious explains some things far better than a deity in my opinion.

  • @CSTheApostate Well what do we know vs. what we don't know. We don't know about any proof of any sort of deity, but we do know matter cannot be created or destroyed, we also know energy can be converted to matter and vice versa. So if we're all from the same energy and matter, then we're all made of the same stuff which was all together before the great expansion. There is actual evidence for this, a diety... well ... not so much.

  • thanks for the hope. and making me cry like a baby

  • Awesome video, dude. It really touched me.

  • Wow, excellent video, man

  • Man this is a touching video. Jehovah's Witnesses break up natural families, and want that cult to be your family. You videos help many people. Thanks very much CS.

  • I never felt the guilt or shame, I simply wanted to be in my mom's life. However, I am happier now for being that which I am. Much love to you for sharing your feelings...your videos are DA bomb.

  • Religion can be an ugly thing at times. True friends will love you unconditionally. The true gospel and the true Jesus will also love us unconditionally. Any religion that tries to put a condition or price on the free gift of salvation which we receive by grace through faith in Christ alone is simply evil and false.

  • I'm happy for you. that little bella is a beauty.

  • very inspirational. I didnt know many of your blood falmily relatives were disfellowshipped or disassociated themselves from the cult. sounds like the watchtower is having a hell of a time keeping followers. maybe it has something to do with their scare tactics and isolation tactics that turns people off.

  • your experience is so touching. It's amazing how the JWs shun those whom they feel are the sinners...even if it's something stupid like questioning their doctrine.

Anyway, ode to true friends who love you for who you are, not for what you believe in!

  • Unconditional love is a beautiful thing. Sadly, this is foreign to the Jehovah's Witnesses.

  • Absolutely beautiful!

  • I'm so glad that you've been able to find family despite the Watchtower's family wrecking. And thank goodness for all the Carls in this world. . .
