Pak can never copy nor invent. Here is why, remember AQ khan, that guy after understanding the whole process of making a bomb could not build one, pak had to borrow nuclear bombs from china. My understanding was, if u understand any hting, it should not be hard to design. Now copying.is waY too hard for pak to mimic china. Perhaps, china will supply some and pak can paint. A paint job from pak has been remarkable so far,i think they will stick to a job where they are very strong
Only after watching these two videos one can know that why DRDO took so many years in developing LCA Tejas, there was no infrastructure shown above before LCA, but now we have all the facilities shown in these video which will minimize the time in DRDO's next development of MCA and so on.I proud to be an Indian @@@
such design procedures are good but DRDO and HAL have to constantly improve upon this so as to have even better technology for the design and manufacture of MCA.
I knew that aircraft design was complex but this is something else. There are so many issues that have to be sorted out. Makes one wonder what the stealth bomber (B2) and F-22 projects would have been like. Anyway, its good that these skills now exist in India.
Yes they sure would have been complex. But technology is developed incrementally, in the case of U.S. they have been doing this for a long time, hence it's "easier" to build state of the art aircrafts. In India's case this is practically the first time (disregarding the Marut) but then again you have to start somewhere. Hopefully they would be able to deliver an aircraft suitable to IAF's needs. In any case this will a significant step forward and it will only get better from here on.
NONE of these technologies exist in Pakistan - only their Chinese masters have it - even they wouldn't have wasted such resources on that piece of junk called JF-17 which they have pawned off on these fools which ssgpunjablahore and his kind would now have to pay for !!!

The Arjun I has been ordered by the Army (248), Arjun Mk2 is in development.
Trishul development has been fused into a joint development project with MBDA.
Akash has been ordered on a mass scale by the Air force and Army.

1- LCA cant even pull more than 17 degrees AOA meaning it has a limited angle of attack JF-17 can pull the same amount as a F-16.
2- LCA isn't even for all weathers recently in an air show in India in 2009 LCA wasn't able to take off in rain.
3- Its too costly meaning its no longer a replacement for IAF’s flying coffins.
4- its been 27 years and u only have produced 6 prototypes (the longest aviation project in history)
