my dad used to use it for making copies of tapes. He is in a band so he used to do alot of that, but now they have come up with the digi 001, so he can save and do all his mixing on that

and for £15 less i managed to get a system made by MORPHY RICHARDS (the same company that make toasters and coffee machines in the UK)
that PWNS the sony
2-way speakers (4" woofers, 2" tweeters, 30 watts RMS power output, aux in, better sound control)

i guess what i mean is that cds stay the same quality forever (unless theyre scratched) whereas tapes get worse the more theyre played
