oh to be able to step through my monitor! the peoplemover made tomorrowland feel alive with motion. it was a ride you could see moving around from all over tomorrowland. you could wave to friends as they were overhead about to enter star tours. weary guests breathed a sigh of relief once they sat down for their 10 min. tour. it was a way to take a break,and still enjoy one of walt's last attractions he helped design. it should be considered a historic landmark,not neglected the way it has been.
quiet,clean,efficient transportation. there should be peoplemovers everywhere. these days they could probably be powered by solar energy,too making them cheap to run. disneyland had it,and closed it down. so much for progress!
its mind blowing that 2 kids got killed by this slow ass moving cars of the people mover,, the peoplemover goes so damm slow,, its a trip how anyone can get runover and crushed by such a slow ass moving snail
What the hell are you talking about? Star Tours is only getting a new film and vehicles and Tomorrowland isn't supposed to get another renovation until 2012, not 2010. And if Disney did take down the Peoplemover track, guests would be complaining.
Forget the "Incredibles" crap. Tired of seeing old rides come back with stupid new themes. Just bring the Damned People Mover back and put the "New" Cartoon crap at the other park. Sheesh! Disney lost it's Imagination!
