the perspective on the club is a little bit out. it doesn't quite match with the positioning of the hand... the spiked head should be closer and we should be able to see a side top down view of the head, if that makes sense?

also i kinda agree with @JayTerraify there's something about the face that doesn't resemble thrall...

maybe i'm being hyper critical. :P

i cprobably couldn't have done much better and your a helluva lot better than me at shading. keep it up, you'll get there eventually! :D

@FacetiousGaming But you are seeing a side top down view, I don't get it. It looks completely right. The viewer is supposed to be slightly above thrall and a little to his right.

@ZoocDoesStuff oh ok... i kind of see what you mean now. i think it's the shape of the handle that threw me off then. because the direction that the handle comes out of the bottom of his hand is slightly different to the direction that the handle comes out of the top. is it supposed to look like that?

anyway i'm probably being too nit picky here :P unless you're finding this useful criticism??

@ZoocDoesStuff The problem with the club is the the the end (The big spiked bit) is a bit to high, if it was lowered a tiny bit then there wouldn't be the problem, it makes it look bent. I think the rest is outstanding though.

It looks like thrall from the concept art of Vanilla WoW :) It's pretty awesome :P Also, orcs have regular squared nails if memory serves me right :) Pretty much all the races of World of Warcraft have nice manicures... But this is very nice :D

Eyes to nose and chin can be difficult I always found it better to start with eyes and nose to get the sizes right. I notice when I used to draw batman and superman that if I started anywhere else it the head would never come out right. Humanoids can be rough. I like the details on the club chains and all other parts of this pic. Good to see ya get something in there that's not just random monster.

Not as good as some of your other works. The face could've used a bit more detail and as others say, it was a tad too long(Coming frone who looks at every piece of Blizz art.) The weapon you could've made Doomhammer instead of a random mace seeing it IS Thrall.

As for hands.. Your forge-master drawing of whatever his name is, the boss in Grim Batol, in my opinion your best work on hands. I'd just go back and look at that whenever hands get pretty confusing

Been following your videos and I'm a big fan of your work (else i wouldn't watch them), but I've gotta say, the face and the eyes here look a bit... off. It's hard to describe, but they look a bit more human than orcish, I dunno. Maybe it's just me. Nice job with the muscles though. Like you say, humanoids are really tough.

If anyone wants to learn more about Thrall and how he came to be, read the book "Lord of the Clans" by Christie Golden. It's one of my favorite books and starts out with Thrall as a child and how he grew up to become a shaman and war leader. Amazingly well written so yea if ur interested in thrall then read it.
