@texasranger9 I'm not sure to be honest. But one of the Jedis he was fighting in this particular fight was actually a Jedi Knight. I forgot his name though. But he is at 1:41 while Grievous jumps at him.

the reason grievous was nowhere near as good in revenge of the sith is because between episodes 2 and 3 mace windu used the force to crush grievous's chest. which is why in the movies he's always coughing and is always leaning foward. if he had been in his prime i have no doubt that he obi-wan would have died against grievous.

After having seen this I was expecting Grevious to be so ridiculously kickass in the film, and he just wasn't... It's a shame George had to rely on Grievous having his chest plate crushed (which is never explained in the movie...).

I don't know, It wasn't just his fighting prowess that was lessened. In the movies he was more of a coward that fought only when backed into a corner. I prefer to stick to the ROTS Grievous instead of the expanded universe Grievous. The latter is just separatist propaganda ;)

@IrOnTrAiT That's true. But Grievous does have replacement parts and spare limbs and such. So if that did effect him in the movie, he would still be able to repair himself. And of course as awesome as he was in the cartoon series, the force choke wouldn't have brang down his performance.

I learned a couple of weeks ago that his cough is going to appear in the new clone wars before Mace Windu crushed his chest, because of him adapting to his body. However the his chest being damaged by Mace Windu is the reason for his weakness against Obi-wan. That and the fact obi is a master of defense. But General Grievous is my favorite character

@Warlock0 Mace Windu dealt a crippling blow to him. He force crushed his chest so that's why in the movies you always see him coughing. It sucks I know :/ I would have liked Grevious to fight like that too.
