    bye troll

  • Wow I ticked some folks off here. Sorry. Just my opinion. I was born with perfect pitch but perhaps I should have been kinder about what I said

  • @Geoffrey2410

i was born with a perfect bullshit meter.

go flame someplace else next time.

T-Pain has an auto-tune mic @ sale @ Target and Walmart. Now people using that should sooth your need for a standard scale without soulful bends.

i don't hate you because your tonedeaf.

best of luck with your ailment.

  • @Geoffrey2410 Geoffrey, I have bad news for you my friend...I think it's you who may be tone deaf. Perhaps consult a doctor...or even a proper musician!

    fuck

Perhaps Bob Dylan singing out of his nose is more to your ears.

  • Impossible to reproduce her interesting tuning

  • Joni has sung so many renditions of this song, and I love most of them. She really makes you listen to each word. Judy Collins' version may have outsold any of Joni's, but I much prefer the latter.

  • Reminds me of my time at boarding school. Used to sing this tune during morning meetings

  • Youtube does us good. Perhaps this is one of the most moving songs I have ever heard. Not only does it evoke emotions but thoughts as well. It really makes one reflect on ones dealings with all mankind.

  • Probably the prettiest song I've ever heard. Thankyou much for posting this.

  • @littlewingforever better than acdc hells bells ?

  • @HIVisaLIE Yeah, I think so. I didn't say better, but definitely prettier. They evoke different shades of emotion, both very well done and capable of moving me.

  • @littlewingforever While Joni will always get credit for writing it, her singing cannot match that of her good friend Judy Collins. Judy's cover of Joni's song is almost not even of this earth. Give it a listen, you wont be disappointed.

  • @Nightsurf59 Must agree...... she sang so many of her songs so very well - Big Yellow Taxi and Free Man in Paris, for example - but somehow she just never seemed to "nail" this one like she did most of what she wrote. Fortunately for us, Judy Collins did!!

  • oh goodness<3

  • this is wonderful. she understands so much about the human condition.
