These things are great, though the one I got on the left stick started to tear and keeps sliding off. Though it lasted around 6 months so i'm not complaining. Gonna grab me another set soon. I'd also recommend these, great buy.

the xbox360 controller doesnt need it because the thumpsticks have a curve inside the ps3 cotroller thought has very crappy thumpsticks so its more usefull there.Also if u wanna improve your grip and accuracy go buy "FPS freek"

@freddy692000 If you think the xbox thumbstiks are so great then you can buy some attachments like the gripits for the ps3 controller which make the thumbsticks concave, But the gripits make the ps3 thumbsticks way more grippy and having both a ps3 and 360 (well used to before I realised how much better the ps3 in reallity actually is) I can tell you that I always found the xbox thumbsticks to feel abit plastic , cheat and not as grippy as the ps3 ones even without gripit.

@ShitThrowingMonkey The main difference is what you want them for.

Grip its are made with the intention of fixing the controllers joysticks after they have been worn down. Eventually the layer that allows you to move them easily wares off so its harder to be as precise when playing a game. This prevents that issue.

FPS Freaks are mean to actually improve your playability. They raise the sticks higher and make the movements more precise with less movement on your part.
