one question, im doing the jelly auto level like u with everything u have and i leave it overnight, for some reason when i see what my levels are i see no jellies attacking me and i only leveled up 3 or 4 times, i started out in the middle of the place and i check and see my char in a corner, when i move a little all the jelly spawn again, why is this and ur videos are all awesome, they helped me alot especially when i was getting the zodiac spear

@bestmaniscool You have to pay close attention to what's killing the Jellies. They stop coming if something else is killing them (damage based attacks)

@KaddyGamer i made sure my gambits were killing them by stoning them to death, they respawn right after i move one step when they are all gone, i think if u dont move they will stop spawning after a while?

and oh by the way... why would you avoid brawler? you can unlock it but you dont have to use it.... right?

@redfoxarts brawler is a passive ability

it's more of a waste of license points than anything else, since the "monk" type of class here blows chunks compared to damage dealing with a 2-handed sword

Want to make gil even faster. You do this as soon you have been in the Eruyt Village. The area is Feywood/Walk of Dancing Shadow. in 30min you can get 200000Gil, if you chain 100 of Mirrorknight, they drops Windslicer Pinion=1148 gil Mirror scale=1952 gil Mirror Mail=4050 gil Ps. you lose a chain if enter a place, where u only can be Vaan or if you touch a save crystal. To make monsters spawn again run to screens back for chest its 3 screens.

@DangoDaikazaku DONT EQUIP WEAPON >.< guys, after getting brawler, you can simply nerf it's effect by using a shield, so it doesnt matter if you have it or not. if you're with shield ONLY its already fine, geez... uuh what has brawler have anything to do with the jelly leveling since you dont even attack them but only cast break??? You can just equip all yur weapons i thnk and be fine.

Kaddy thanks for this great vid... I have one suggestion for it.

When setting up gambits i find that you can improve yours if your looking at auto lvling and getting most of the drop items faster.

If you add Steal and have your party leader target the furthest target. It causes the party leader to cross the battle field.. and this causes him to pick up most of the drops there. Also if you have everyone set up with steal you steal quite a bit of 500 gil's i get 99 of the 3 drops in 15-25 min

dam i played 47 hours and i STILL havent gotten to the lvl 40s cause of belias and elder wyrm and i barely survived the encounter with tiamat cause i totally forgot black belts and then i never got zodiac spear cause of 3 reasons

1) i couldnt remember if i opened the confiscatory chests b4 you meet basch as guest

2) i am at the king bomb boss NOW and i STILL cant buy the niho item

3) I got so addicted and wanted to do hunts (Current Trickster) I DONT HAVE BIO AND IM COMMITING SUICIDE! T.T

First let me start with a thank you, this walkthrough has been a great help. I've beaten this game before but I wanted to replay and unlock all the little extras, so leveling up helped a great deal. Alright to main point, by mistake I added Brawler (I had not seen your warning) but as it turns out it doesn't affect anything. I was at LV 99 and still did no damage to myself, the party, or even the Jellies. So as it turns out Brawler is useless but not harmful. Hope that helps, Thanks again!

No, I've done this with 30 hours. It depends on your room temperature. If it's really hot (Above 90) constantly, don't do this.

thats the effect of mirror mail armor...it has auto reflct witch bounces poison back to the jellies with this method

This is a great autoleveling setup, works perfect. Thanks for posting it.

Steal is definitely better than Charm. If you're autoleveling overnight etc. then you're going to top out most of the drops at 99 very early, so why not grab 500 gil every few minutes? Very nice.

I also pre-chain them manually to drop the big coins, then go to auto. I THINK this increases your Float Mote drops. Slightly more lewt to cash in later. Small gain, but no harm in it.

After some more experimentation, I'm not seeing a significant increase in Float Mote drops when you pre-chain the jellies, so I retract that hypothesis.

Well, it looks like it took him about 28 hours to get his reserve team up from 29 to 96...
