@REXXBAILEY What I have heard is - Duryodhana had a very opulent spread, but he had no love for Krishna, he was puffed up and arrogant. Vidura, although unable to provide more than bananas, had love for Krishna. Out of his love for Krishna, when he heard Krishna was going to visit, he got so excited that he peeled all the bananas. Therefore he only had peels to offer Krishna. But Krishna was happy to accept the peels, because they were offered in a mood of love.

Vidur offered the food with pure, single-minded devotion to god. Duryodhan was offering food with arrogance. The moral in this is that Krishna accepts anything you offer him, if its with love.

Also, if you have read Rig Veda then you would know that the most verses in Rig veda is devoted to Lord Indra, followed by Agni. Now to learn the truth one goes to vedanta which teaches us that all this symbolisms are one (Brahma bhuyaye kalpate - all this is indeed Brahman). The great master Adi Shankara says the same.

He saw sum1 comparable to Arjuna and hence appointed Karna as ruler of Anga. Please do research or character analysis. Sri Vishnu says only this to Kill the uprising evil which doesn't respect dharma i shall emerge in this world by an Avatar. To cleanse the evil. If cleansing of evil has to be done by breaking a few rules of the Dharma itself then i shall not hesitate to do so. Here Sri Krishna does everything he can to finish off the kauravas(evil) and protect the pandavas(good). So no need to say what he did was not dharma. The same he syas in ram avatar too when he kills Vaali and Raavan.

Krishna didnot stop the war because that would mean a loss to Dharma itself. After what was done by Duryodhan and Shakuni in the court of hastinapur it was destined that the war had to be fought to establish righteousness. The soldiers who died in the battle only did their duty of protecting their respective kingdoms. As said by Krishna after the war, that "everyone were just a part of My play, you are all just toys, invisibly it is I who controls everything!"
There was only one KRISHNA and everyone else was just a puppet in the hands of the master of all souls.....so whatever was happening was HIS 'leela'....which can never be understood by rational minds but only by devotional hearts......RADHEY KRISHNA

Actually there are some detailes from the original Mahabharat that this serial have got wrong. In reality only Dhritrashtra and Vidur could stay unaffected in that royal court. Dhritrashtra because he was blind and Vidue because he was pure. Everybody else, including Bheshm were unable to open their eyes because of the aura.
No my friend, the serial showed this part correctly though there are many other mistakes. Bhishm, Drona and Vidur were the only ones able to witness the Viswaroop of Krishna. Even the blind Dhritrashtra was affected as the aura was too strong for a blind eye. Refer to the line by line translations and you'll see it. Parashuram was also present in the court when this incident occured but was not shown by B.R.Chopra

@axl8 No it doesnot. Nothing more than Dharma (Preservation of Planet). For Karna, it was return of favor. and Duryadhana was opportunist. He saw sum1 comparable to Arjuna and hence appointed Karna as ruler of Anga. Please do research or character analysis. You might be awed by Pankaj Dheer's subtle potrayal of Karna or Ravi Chopra's tilting sympathy towards Karna, but if you read Veda Vyasa's Jaya, you will know what I point at.

This is Krishna's greatness .. to make Pandav's Rajsuya he the All Powerful was happy picking juthan from rishi's plates, to make arjun victorious he was willing to sit in his feet , to bring pandav's to victory he took the shrap from Gandhari ....
Like even in Ramayan to get Sugreev victory he was willing to shoot from behind and get his image tarnished but not of his bhakt

This is a different Yuga that is a different yuga. Those days lord vishnu himself has walked on the earth. but these days there is only evil every where. I hate this world. Sri Vishnu says only this to Kill the uprising evil which doesn't respect dharma i shall emerge in this world by an Avatar. To cleanse the evil. If cleansing of evil has to be done by breaking a few rules of the Dharma itself then i shall not hesitate to do so. Here Sri Krishna does everything he can to finish off the kauravas(evil) and protect the pandavas(good). So no need to say what he did was not dharma. The same he syas in ram avatar too when he kills Vaali and Raavan.

Krishna didnot stop the war because that would mean a loss to Dharma itself. After what was done by Duryodhan and Shakuni in the court of hastinapur it was destined that the war had to be fought to establish righteousness. The soldiers who died in the battle only did their duty of protecting their respective kingdoms. As said by Krishna after the war, that "everyone were just a part of My play, you are all just toys, invisibly it is I who controls everything!"

But then a lot was taken from him at birth which the Pandavas and Kauravas got..the fact that they had a teacher like Drona because they were born princes..which he missed out on..or else he would never have had the curse..plus the eklavya angootha kaand was a sheer gift to arjuna..it is not that he got something unfairlyit was his quality,if I am born an Indian,it is my quality and if I get a scholarship because of my nationality,it cannot be called an unfair advantage which must be taken away

Actually there are some detailes from the original Mahabharat that this serial have got wrong. In reality only Dhritrashtra and Vidur could stay unaffected in that royal court. Dhritrashtra because he was blind and Vidue because he was pure. Everybody else, including Bheshm were unable to open their eyes because of the aura.

No my friend, the serial showed this part correctly though there are many other mistakes. Bhishm, Drona and Vidur were the only ones able to witness the Viswaroop of Krishna. Even the blind Dhritrashtra was affected as the aura was too strong for a blind eye. Refer to the line by line translations and you'll see it. Parashuram was also present in the court when this incident occured but was not shown by B.R.Chopra

He was A Brahmin, He could have Gone to Hastinapur in the very first place where His Brother In Law, Acharya Krip was and could have Made A Plea to Anoint Him as Preceptor of The Princes of Hastinapur. Or He could have asked for Daan from Any King/Rich Man, They would have.
