@finalfatasyfreak49 Yes, there are 4 of them out so far. Excellent books. She's been a Gear for a while before Gears 3. Jacinto's Remnant to Coalition's End fills the gap between Gears 2 and 3 .

Act 1 in Gears of War 1 is the best in Gears history. I dunno why but i love that Act. :D

I like the visuals better on this one than GOW2. Less color, more realistic.

@Iamoldenough92 I know right? I noticed that too. GOW1 is more realistic graphicly and I think they went back to that in GOW3 from what I saw in the 'Ashes' debut trailer. GOW2 does have more color true but it did work for inside Riftworm level, although it would be dark in there in reality. Ha ha. But yes, they improved and advanced the textures, clarity, & lighting/shading in GOW3 but went back to GOW1's more realistic, gritty, raw, less-color look. Way better, and all games are epic.

@nixty84 I felt the second game was too dark, gloomy and depressing. Not the story, the graphics and settings. I mean, it's very appropriate and very nice at some parts, but I felt the whole game was like that.
