There was a serious problem concerning ethics for all the people involved: Edison Chen, the women (although they are victims here they really shouldn't have professed to be moral authority figures), the computer shop tech guys, the HK media and the HK police. This whole thing should have been handled better at so many points. This whole scandal gives poor commentary to HK culture in general that it's even possible and that's a sad thing.
