The MXR Micro amp, is a clean booster! It only adds more gain to the sound, it doesnt actually distort the sound. It is best used to send a nice tube amp into overdrive! The english Muff'n is the best thing ever because it can go from a very warm clean sound to very overdriven! So you should defo get that pedal!
Yes the english muff'n will get you the hyde park intro sound and at low volumes! The only way you will be able to get similar tone is if you turned your marshall amp on full. But the english muffn will definately get you that tone! In my honest opinion i think its the best pedal for overdrive tone ever!
But when Frusciante plays live the tone is achieved purely by the amps! I hope this helps

I dont use the ds-2 during verses. I have the english muff'n on the whole. Greatt pedal for getting that dirty clean sound. During the verse im playing full chords, so it dirties up a whole lot more. So no i dont use the ds-2! Thanks for watching!

Volume MAx, Tone 13:00, Dist Max, Turbo .

hey i dont speak spanish but i understood that as the settings for the big-muff.
Volume: 1 O'Clock
Tone: 2 O'Clock
Sustain: 3 O'Clock
But adjust and experiment to suit your amp and guitar.
