  • I've never seen a prime mover with 3 sets of driving wheels, lots of wheels on the load. That cheeky bird was probably looking for dead bugs. Great video again.

  • @DownUnderDoug There's a lot of tri-drives in the NT and in the north of WA.

  • Very brilliant video mate thanks for sharing

  • AWESOME VIDEO and TRUCKS

  • Once again mate another great video, can you do a vid on you using the engine brake I'd like to hear what it sounds like

  • @MrKenwortht908 It's got a CAT Brakesaver, a hydraulic unit like on scraper or dump truck, you can hear it going down hill in my vid "Like Big V8s"

  • I loved the airplane landing near the truck stop. Also the Oversize load passing, I do have to do that once in awhile, but only with a front escort, 10-4.

  • @TruckerWarren The boat was light compared to my load, it did have a front escort because anything over 3.5 meters wide has to have one, probably the same as you guys in the U.S. What did you think of the platform trailer behind the tri-drive Mack Titan, Warren?

  • Great video. I would love to drive that Kw in a week. Regards Visti Denmark.

  • @visti1 It is just as well it's got a good air conditioner because it is very hot at the moment (40C). Enjoy your winter over there.

  • Chris, did you see the Federal and the Shovel Nose Kenworth you drove past??? I have a pic of the Shovel Nose at the Kenworth dealer in Dubbo's open day!

  • @huppypuppy The guy next to me in the vid had a 12V71 powered KW which I got a vid of taking off and I will put that up after I do my next trip.

  • @gm16v149 That's one of the vehicles on the back of that Kenworth! His name is Paddy Ward - he lives not very far, about one and a half hours away, from me.... used to haul fuel around Orange!

  • @huppypuppy Yes I met him at Three Ways and at the Alice Springs reunion.

  • Great video! Fantastic! :-D

  • @mstruckerboy Glad you like it..

  • HI MATE I STILL LOVE THAT TRUCK ITS ANE IN A MILLION

  • @Robfreightliner Ha Ha yeah, hows work at the moment?

  • Awesome video man, really liked it. I hope you post more road-train related videos, as I love that stuff.

Anyway, about the Komatsu mine truck... maybe I'm missing something, but after noticing the truck's big size, and the "small" size of the compartment to place dirt/rocks/whatever... I wonder.. is it really worth it? I mean wouldn't be just cheaper to have just 2-3 normal trucks haul that same stuff?

  • @Irreo That dump truck is working a huge iron ore mine so the trucks need to be be huge. It holds 250 tons of iron ore so it might look small but it isn't. There are even bigger trucks around than that Komatsu. The larger the truck, the more efficient they are in a big mine.

  • @gm16v149 Thanks man. It's just that watching at some of them I was wondering if their buying and maintenance costs were really worth it, and I assume those big ones aren't precissely cheap, lol. Thanks for clearing things up.

  • @puppet6475II Yeah, well you don't see that every day, the guy was running whale-watching flights out of Nullarbor and just fuelled up and was parking for the night.

  • @statusmaximus Thanks, it's always good to get up north, bit hot this time of year though.

  • @oscerse Indeed they are

  • This video is very interesting for all truckers from europe , for me too i like to watch overload transport and roadtrains

    thx for video :)

  • @TruckerBoy22 Yes, we've got some big trucks and machines in the north of Australia..

  • very good video as always and superb quality of image

    thanks for sharing

    have a good week Chris

    Patrick

  • @7784Patrick You too, Patrick...enjoy your winter over there...

  • The first road train with the water pipes would of been a subbie for part of the company i work at.

  • @lewis69r That was me, loaded for Turners / Simons

  • @gm16v149 Yeh i noticed it straight away :P I work down in the melbourne depot and i prepare alot of those fucking bolsters. I would take a guess and say that you may be working on the olympic dam pipe line coming up?

  • Awesome video as alwais Chris!! Thx for sharing mate!!

    Tomas

  • @hosatosa Thanks Tomas, been a few months since the last one

  • Interesting and entertaining as per usual fella's.

The cessna taxiing was a bit of a shock...lol (Puppet's gunna like that bit)

Thnx for sharing, n good to see ya's again.

  • @cheeptorque The computer was a bit slow but I've upgraded now so it is faster to edit...so expect a few more vids...maybe! Wating for some more from you Simmo.

  • Jeez I'd hate to do a tyre rotation on that thing of Lampsons Chris, bet those guys are good at changing them but !!

  • @mackjack525 Yeah, some of them have a small mobile workshop travelling with them with parts and tyres, they were finding a spot to park for the night in the vid

  • looked like a load of trucks headed for the road transport museum at alice springs

  • @roadwolf2 They were going to the Alice Springs truck drivers reunion.

  • AWESOME! Thank you for sharing. Largest combination allowed in south western Canada is a Super B Train (B-Double).. Also, I wish they were that friendly on the radio over here. :)

  • @GreenVolvo I think in parts of Canada you've got double trailer roadtrains with a dolly like ours, not sure what you guys call them though.

  • Impressive video, very good job, heavy machinery of truth, silence in the gravacion, very nice for my eyes...Nice and not be if too hard country regarding transport..By the immensity of the terreneno, abrupt.

    Thank you.

  • @truckernacion Thanks Alberto

  • Loved the video!

  • @PaleriderTV Thanks Keith

  • great video like the macks pullin n pushin the flat loader abd the bird was cleanin the bugs off for free

  • @rwb1955 The next day there was an even bigger load with I think 4 Macks but I missed it, I had a few miles to do that day.

  • top Video as allways!

  • @aussitruck Thanks mate

  • Haha, the bird knew where was food.

  • @paprna They are very tame at that place (Caiguna Roadhouse on the Nullarbor Plain)

  • the bird is getting a free feed saves chasing for food

  • @why426 As long as I don't turn on the wipers..

  • Excellent video!

  • @TheRubberDuck1 Thanks mate

  • Great vid, trucks, machines, etc.!! Brilliant stuff mate. You Aussie's and Kiwi's sure have some amazing variations of American trucks, love'em! Great shot of the Komatsu haul truck!

What was the piece of machinery the Mack Titans were push-pulling?? How come the wide load with the yacht was passing you? Im guessing you were running much heavier than him, but thought id be sure.

How many kilometers on the CAT 3408? Any rebuilds yet?

Thanks! Keep up the great work!

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX It looked like a conveyor belt going to the iron ore mines. The boat came past because it was less than half the weight of my truck, I was grossing 80 tons on 2 trailers. Engine's done around 5m k's on 3 rebuilds.

  • big rigs is a massive understatement lol

    HUGE

    good video :)

  • @BringEllisTheHoriZon Normal where we live..

  • @gm16v149 yup i know :) but i live in england so its not for me :)

  • LOL at the bird

  • @BoggaBillaRFS Hungry little critter!
