most people don't realise how difficult it is to make an animation, like for a sample: everything u see in this nice vid is built from the ground up.... there's no automatic ways of doing this.

@myvirtuallady I used only puppeteer. The hair, cloth, fire, and face morphs.

I used regular keyframes for the camera. Thanks for watching.

that's pretty cool, when you say you used "just daz" going from one scene to the next, you didn't use something like Vegas or Adobe NLE to piece it together? I can only seem to get small scenes with this, then take it into Vegas and process the rest.

According to Mythology, Medusa was initially beautiful. She angered one of the goddesses who then cursed her and turned her into a hideous creature. Check the library or do your homework before trashing Wikipedia (which we all know contain errors, but is also sometimes accurate and informative). When you do adequate home work, you will find answers. MacAttack, you are correct in your assessment of Medusa and how she became hideous. Good work!

Not bad animation! Not being an ass, but Medusa wasn't turned into a snake. She was born that way. She's one of the Gorgon sisters. Like I said, not being nit-picky, but a little background knowledge can only make your animation better.

@deliconker actually Medusa was originally a beautfiul young woman with luxurious hair; she was desired by many, and was known far and wide for her tresses. Poseidon courted her in the Temple of Athena, who, as punishment at the violation of her temple, turned her hair into snakes and gave her the power to turn all who gazed on her into stone.

@macattack36 : wikipedia = FAIL!!! There is a reason why most schools and universities will not let you use wikipedia as a source.

According to the wiki article you mentioned, a Roman poet decided to tell the tale that she was once a beautiful woman turned into a monster. Essentially, later poets changed the story around. Maybe so that she would seem more tragic. Who knows. But I'm not buying it.

@deliconker actually daz3d isnt really a 3d software. you cant really take an idea and make a 3d out of it. so making medusa the you want it just isnt possible with daz3d :D
