It doesnt matter if you have 500 years of musical theory if your an idiot. fact is that the dance of eternity is not that hard to learn on guitar (I mention once again). Theres a whole bunch of DT/LTE/Suspended Animation songs that are way harder. Trust me.

ok, literally this song composes of time signatures that are pretty easy.. (4/4, 6/4, 12/8..etc.) in dance of eternity, people find it hard to even head bang because of the unusual time signature. and another thing, dance of eternity doesn't have a proper scale to follow.

(unlike this song that just follows D flat).

Well for me at least (and most people I would guess) that try to nail these songs break the different parts down and just learn it note for note. I never count as I play, just play the notes in their correct order and place. People following this principle (which I guess is almost every guitarist) will probably agree that Dance of Eternity is the hardest to one do.

nope, from the basis of as it is.. i think you don't even know Dance of Eternity.. it's alot harder i tell ya.. that song consists of more arpeggios and a UNISON.. this song only has a monster-shredddd guitar solo.. dance of eternity has unisons that you have to follow a certain scale accompanied with the keyboardist, with one mistake could lead total failure.. that's just my opinion.. :D

Your opinion is just wrong. None of the points are valid. Following a specific scale is not that hard. Hey I thought that was the point of a scale, playing ITS notes. Doesnt matter if stuff is unison, if you play it correctly then it will add up. Perhaps its harder on keyboard? I see you play that.
