We always one shot ROS and the learning process was easy even with the dumb asses we raided with, and we were server first not a bad guild just stupid people.  Kael'thas and Vash'j were major blocks and that is why many guilds waited for the attunement quest to be removed and then came back to raid in black temple/hyjal.

Lady Vashj and Kael'thas Sunstrider, those were the days. I remember downing Kael like 1 week before 3.0 went live, got my fancy title and ring. And then Blizz screwed over all the players who actually put in the effort to down these bosses, gave the title to essentially anybody who wanted it.

Was the same thing with Champion of the Naaru and the Mag nerf, two unique titles I earned handed out to everybody.

Yeah that boiled my piss too. Especially since Blizzard announced they were removing the title and the Amani War Bear. They removed the beat but not the title. I was like wtf? If you're using "Content will be trivial at 80" then follow through with all content. But then again not many people do Kael or vashj. At least not people who haven't done them before.

this is why guild money is used for repairs after all tabs are bought...fights where you actually HAVE to wipe in order to get used to the rotation (if you succeed without a wipe yippee for you...just remember that the patch reduced all raid health by about 30% and increased DPS substantially)

Phase 1 and 3 are easy yes. Phase 2 is still hard because mob HP is the least of your worries there.

Never did the fight after that patch, but doing it before I can say that having less HP on the mobs would make things much easier. Hardest part of dealing with that phase was properly balancing your DPS to kill striders, nagas and eles. With less health you would have much more room to breath.

But yeah, phase 2 pretty much is the fight. First time we got past it (with a reasonable amount of people alive anyway) she died.

After the patch, having warrior offtanks stand away from Vashj can be useful, as their Warbringer ability will make their Charge break the entangling roots and make them able to taunt asap

What sucks is I have killed Kael in TK but not her, 1 percent wipe..If your DPS is not good enough to DPS striders down fast before another one spawns it can be a wipe. This boss was harder I think then Stormrage still pre patch though.

so hard fight but... i did a pug with some ppl in my realm (emeriss EU) and went to straight to vashj after lurker. we didnt done the fight together any time, done it for the vials. aftrer 10 mins of tacts we went for it and extraordinary, no one died and we one-shoted her:-s pretty intense fight, but if you distribute the ppl right i can be very easy. peace out :-)
