I used a brand called scribbles it is a clothing paint, I bought at Michaels. You should be able to find it or another brand at any hobby/art supply shop. It sticks to most anything, flexible and water proof just paint in layers. make sure you use alcohol to remove all shine from the area of the leather you wish to paint.
hey dude! what did you use for the base? and also what paint you use? lastly, what you use for finishing? i really want to customized my converse. . but i dont know what materials i need. . can you help me?
because they are mostly canvas I just cleaned a bit with alcohol. The rubberized area after cleaning I used very fine sandpaper to rough it up so the paint would have an anchor.
I used Multiple layers of a multisurface 3d paint called Scribbles. very durable and elastic. normally used for t-shirts etc.
about $1.00 ounce then I Sprayed a couple Of Coats of Clear water proofing for shoes thin coats. Although the paint it self after it dries is very water resistant.
Thanks for the Support!! I have Been Considering Making A Part Of My Pedorthic / Orthopedic Shoe Modification Lab Into a Custom Shoe Work Station. I have Been Given The Ok By My Boss. But Only So many hours in a day. lol

no I have not worn them small size for kids only. They are on display at a Shoe Store.
But they are durable and have been tested.
