Every city needs to do one of these. It's a blast. People have a great time and EVERYONE in town starts talking about Ron Paul. Those who have the resources to do it big - do it big. The rest - just do what you can do. Just one banner on an interstate or busy intersection makes a difference.

But we need to move from an activist mindset to a get-the-masses-to-vote-for-Ron-Paul mindset. To reach the undecided's, we need a more 'normal' campaign. Less chanting and REVOLUTION signs. Instead, passive signs (bumperstickers/yardsigns) should be EVERYWHERE. Also, there should be a ton of Ron Paul TV spots...and that means donations.
This is the next stage of RP reaching the 'tipping point' of social awareness, acceptance, and buy-in.

Jacksonville, Fl. a city of over a million people with the largest land area in the USA, overnight the conversation on the street changed from "never heard of Ron Paul, he doesn't stand a chance" to "Who is Ron Paul? Where can I find out about him?" Results: lots of FREE TV and are on many radio talk shows now--FREE. Get out there and DO SOMETHING! Never doubt that a small group of dedicated people can change the world, and that, indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.

More likely, thousands saw the REVOLUTION signs and said "Oh look honey, Ron Paul kooks. Revolution? Pfft, the USA is the greatest country ever and they want a revolution? They just don't know how good they have it. By the way...isn't distracting drivers illegal?"

I'm still for what you guys did...just leave off the Revolution stuff. That campaign has attracted all the revolution-types out there. It's time to move beyond enlightened people and onto the masses. Posting banners all over the place is great...I'm just trying to optimize such advertising and point out that we need more 'normal' ads...bumperstickers, yardsigns, TV spots...to get the masses to accept RP as a 'safe' candidate to discuss/vote for.
