im pretty sure its about half and half one shot = one kill, since the distance is never the same. they are trained to shoot accurately. to hit them on that first shot.

all it is a barrel, trigger, bolt, magazine and a stock....

no gas system no nothing.....

the power of the powder charge is entirely focused on pushing the bullet out the barrel, and every shot is consistent in that essence

But you wouldn't want to be stuck with a bolt action against anyone within 200 yards. that slow fire rate will kill you.
