  • Just made 2 recipes of this last night. One with nuts. One without. I did 1/2 of the sugar in the cream cheese mixture and am soooo glad I did. It was absolute perfection! Would have been far too sweet, for us, using the full amount. Super duper delicious! Oh, I also upped the Cinnamon a touch and reduced the cloves a bit. Just did this because of our taste buds and what we happen to like.

    HELPFUL HINT :

    if you are having trouble taking the wax paper off...(the edges tend to stick)

    tear it on one edge in the middle (like opening a box sorta) and peel off that way

    SOOOO MUCH EASIER and youll have all of your cake!! :D

  • Sounds exactly like the Libby's Pumpkin Roll Cake recipe on the back of the can, which you will need to buy for the recipe, regardless.

    instead i did not add vanilla extract and i put cinnamon on the top of the roll!

  • I have made this pumpkin roll 10 times in the past two months. Everyone LOVES it. I see a comment that says you used parchment paper. I'LL TRY THAT AS SOON AS THIS ONE COMES OUT OF THE OVEN IN 10 MIN. I was hoping to find a way to do it with out using a towel. The towel gets soo messy and for a germ freak like my self it just doesnt seem 100% sanitary. I also made pumpkin CUPCAKES with the filling as the icing...HUGE HIT! I passed this on to a friend and made the icing pink for a baby shower=)

  • I just made 10 of these today for our church bake sale. Gonna make about 4 more tomorrow. Instead of a towel I use parchment paper.
