@tvrle17 Actually, there was an Native American tribe called "Croatan", which settled on nearby land on a separate island N.C.. It was more like an ambush to protect the land from British settlers. History isn't as accurate as it seems but regardless, it's difficult to tell history accurately because no one alive today, will ever know for sure other than what was recorded. Then, there is also conspiracies; so, you'll have to base everything on found evidence such as recordings and artifacts.
