  • respect Ruas!!

  • This man was well rounded amazing back then.

  • what the fuck is up with all these new fucking ads cant hear shit

  • marco rua was the fight man to show us how effective leg kicks are in mma

  • He was complete, would still do well now. Gracies all ducked him apparently. Also a real Hunk!

  • I would have loved to see him against Don Frye

  • PARABÉNS RUAS ........ESSE SIM ACABOU COM TUDO....

    É DO BRASILLLLLL

  • I was very privileged to do a training session with Marco when he came to Nottingham in the mid 1990s. He has an awsome presence and is a true Gladiator to say the least.

  • @1:54 wth?

  • @ST8URCASE I have this UFC on VHS, im going to post it soon. To anwser your question he gave up. He was mounted and didnt want to get hit. lol That night he was beating people smaller then him and with no ground fighting. So when he faced Ruas he was alreading shiting in his pants.lol

  • @ST8URCASE I agree. There was some talking going on during the fight and then that guy set up the position to get heel hook reversed! I seent it!!

  • @ST8URCASE I think with the not wanting to get hit in the face technique lol Once Marco ruas mounted him, the other dudes like fuck this I'm not getting my face punched in lol

  • marcosruas is the man. vale tudo fighterrs are a breed apart. bare hand gladiators.

  • just play the tape, it's such a waste of time to hear rap,

  • A very good, calm and complete fighter.

  • i guess marco didn't like his balls got grabbed really sexy first fight

  • good fighter. vale tudo has been practiced in Brasil before it came to America. Experience always counts.

  • The king of the streets! Good kicks, solid punches and excellent grappler!

  • is that a very young Pedro Rizzo at the end?

  • first real mma fighter in ufc.

he could fight standing and on the ground.

  • 0:30 DAMN IT! I was listening on high volume!

  • Ummm at the end it says "UFC Legend" Excuse me but anyone who knows anything about UFC knows that Royce Gracie is the UFC Legend and always will be. He started it all!

  • @bloodyxshirtxstainer there can be more than one legend dude, and those two, gracie and ruas, are two of them. severns a legend, the shamrocks are legends, couture, liddell, a silva, and coleman are all legends. what he means by the ufc legend is that he was the first striker/ grappler instead of just one or the other.

  • Music: Letter 2 my unborn child - 2Pac

  • no doubt Ruas chose his opponents carefuly. however he HAD to, he was in his mid to late thirties when won UFC 7. still he was a great martial artist, very unique fighter. could chop people down like he did with Varlins or take you down in seconds like he did with Pat Smith.

  • whats the song in final?

  • ruas had the sexiest body in mma history

  • BRAZIL!

  • That judoka sure put up a ifght and didnt get tapped but bowed out honourably in this society,

  • music ?

  • lendario , um dos pioneiros do MMA !

  • Esse é lendário !!!!!!

  • Fera, sabe tudo

  • Fera, sabe tudo

  • eo brasil mostrando todo seu potencial

  • I love UFC 7

  • I remember this UFC. The karate guy gave up because he didn't know how to defend from being mounted. That's why he gave up so fast. Ruas won the whole thing. In the last fight, the big guy had him in a guillotine in the air. It looked like professional wrestling. Then Ruas kicked and kicked until the end. The guy's leg was black and blue.

  • @professorcookie he as a japanesejiujitsu/judo fighter

  • THIS SONG DOESNT MATCH YA DUMB FUCK

  • the song is liberian girl by michael jackson

  • paroel was pretty good

  • Thats the thing. He was smart. you don't try a standard triangle on someone like Marco Ruas. suicide!

  • omg at 1:30 that pardoe could have triangled him for like 30 sec. lol

  • Comment removed

  • REMCO IS JUDO

  • nope. he is jui jitsui. but not as good as brazilian jj.

  • Id have to say Jujitsu was great as a art used for battle.Yes it required physical strength in some moves, and people always say its not as good because that, BUT the only people using it were Samurai, soldiers, strong people. Jujitsu has dirty strikes, grappling with knives, chains, finger locks.BJJ is better in the ring with rules and half naked people. But Jujitsu is better for what it was made for, usually both people have a weapon, and clothes,or armor.None is better, cause they used different

  • it doesnt required physical strength as far as i believe. hav u seen rtoyce gracie goin wid kimo, akebono, adn other bigger than him? how about nogueira goin wid bob sapp? and how about ikuhisa minowa on super hulk battle?

  • Original Jujitsu has many techniques and throws that require your physical strength as opposed to the 99% technique based BJJ. Though original Jujitsu is about technique over strength as far as ALL styles. But put next to the modified ring version BJJ, it requires more strength, but its also alot better outside the ring in my opinion.

  • can u hear ur self????? damn man ur contradicting whatever statement ur trying to say..originally..though..however...BULLSHIT!!!

ur inconsistent! stop talking if u dont know what ur talking just fill in line and wait for ur food stamp.

  • That was a beautifully worded statement, if I do say so myself. Although, I would like it if you corrected me on to what it is that I said was incorrect =) I can see you have an extreme knowledge in Jujitsu and its insides and outs. Please tell me the truth about it, seeing as I am SO wrong. I'd also like to know why im suddenly poor and get food stamps xD

  • What that second guy a Judoka?

  • His name is Remco Pardoel. He was jiu-jitsu.

  • nombre de la cancion ¿?

    name this song ¿?¿?

  • leter to my unborn

    by 2pac

  • tanks !!!!

  • so let me get this right,...the guy who made this video is Marco Ruas father?? but Ruas was born already,...I mean living,...but it s his unborn child? I like Tupac,...BUT THIS SONG SUCKS DONKEYDICK

  • This brings back memories of a time when I was frustrated because work stopped me from practicing jiu-jitsu. Now I have a good job that lets me train whenever... and I never even go to the dojo. Ironic, huh?

  • marco ruas is the best ...

gran mestre no valetudo e muay thay

    name of musik?????

    please

  • And here he proves that he's a lot more than just a ground-fighter. Varelans didn't know what hit him.

  • @cyd8919 music is "2pac - letter to my unborn child."

  • Thank you Pafuncio... I was one of early vale tudo fans and my favorite fighter 10 yeaers ago was Marco Ruas, I think he had class and he was a winner. he was the prototype of the fighters of today...

  • the best i ever seen!

  • Ruas @ 1:32- Nows the time to hit me mr pardoel or better still let me recover from that gillatine attempt.

Pardoel- Sorry i'm only good for slapping and boy you did well to escape that!

  • The leggend!!!

  • 1:58 hahahahahahahaha it was fear to lead in the face

  • look at how greased he was against pardoel and varelans.

  • brazil has many2 talented fighters, no doubt about it. say wanderlei, thiago, anderson silva, pedro rizzo, gracie family, vitor belfort.. n most of em have almost undefeated records in MMA. but the real undefeated ones is still remains fedor. n i say he,s the BEST in the world

  • Is that Pedro Rizzo at the end of the Varelans fight? He looks so small.

  • "Brasileiro BATE-FORTE faz babar sangue com saliva"

eh isso ae gringos imundos respeita os brasileiros

  • Marco is a brazilian guy...whats up now?

if you want a real figther...watch the brazilians warriors figthing...and learn hehehehehe

We are the best in the world Vato...

    BRASIL RULEZZZZZ

  • @Pafuncio1983 Until Ameican wrestlers came along and started rag dolling everyone.

  • @LordDeathspit nah amercian wrestlers still get pwned by 75% of bjj guys (viva brazil) you can't win a fight by just humping a guy for 3 rounds without punching like that who does that? Look what Anderson silva did to Chael Sonnen and he was on sterioud enough said..

  • @Pafuncio1983 ha not most of them have got their ass kicked in japan

  • @Pafuncio1983 ha not most of them have got their ass kicked in japan but i yhink ruas is badass

  • @Pafuncio1983 I'm american, but I have to admit that Brazil has the highest percentage of the population that could kick your ass of any country. So many big powerful athletic guys think they can fight. If you can't fight in the clinch and on the ground , and don't know submissions or sprawling techniques, you would find out real quick that you're not nearly as tough as you think. It's nice to be big and strong, but it takes more than that to be good fighter. Brazil showed the world that.

  • "...Resistente como uma armadura MARCO RUAS é pedra dura é isso..."

  • fuck sidemount69!!! Marco Ruas is more of a warrior brasil

destructive of any U.S. put a martial artist!

  • the dream of Marco is to kick Rickson's ass.

No doubt he coud easily to do,and the same thing probably think mr.gracie.Much better fought takada and funaky.....

  • Ruas>Rickson
