I have been in touch with people of naadi for a while, but not like a customer. Did you present your date / time/ place of birth? Did the nadi reader note the time your arrived and draw up a chart for that moment? The nadi reader gives your parents' names. I can also confirm that all the information he had come up with in this video he had already uncovered previously by trial and error. Except I wanted to believe so much that I did not see this obvious detail..
Everything he read out in this video he had already uncovered earlier through a process of trial and error and elimination, in a gruelling 2 hours of sifting through stacks of naadi leaves.
How could it have been uncovered if all you were supposed to answer was a yes/no? Did you give more details during the process. With just yes/no type answers theoretically it would take a very very long time to come up with all the details. For a 3 letter name, there are atleast 26*27*4 combinations of english letters of which only some can be eliminated. Without the narrowing down process, how could one leaf be identified for each person who comes.
I don't know about the credibility of this reader. But I have been to readers who took 2 -4 bundles to identify my leaf but I was careful not to say anything except yes/no. How do you think your parents name, marital status; etc could be guessed with yes/no? I do know some readers who I can call genuine with a high confidence. Based on the tamil he sings out, the English translation is also correct to a large extent. Nevertheless, I do agree that there are readers who are not genuine.

I doubt how could he say Aanantha namashamvathsharam is just 1974, august 8, it occurs in every 60 years, even a jothisa pandit will need to look into almanac with western calendar to confirm it, since our hindu time calculation differs, our year begins in mid april as per solar, or march as per lunar or mid march as per ayana, secondly whether if it is Tamil, or sauramanam or chandramanam or veda namam don't have the jan, feb...etc. which is western calendar .

I have heard that you get different thoughts at differnet times so its possible that this question may not arise in the mind..or the saints knew the time that the son is going to ask the question when the father is alive.. but then what is exactly written on the leaf about father??

This person will not come after his parents death. He was destined to know his nadi and the text written on the nadi was for when he would come. The Maharishis who wrote this knew when the person would come to seek the nadi and wrote it according to the it. It is a hypothetical question if he 'would' come later. He could but he wont. That is destiny.

This naadi reading is all fraud.the so called naadi readers are mostly illiterate and can't even read tamil properly.The palm leaf scripts are not at all authentic.The leaves are manufactured by themselves.And they do not contain anything or mean anything.The readers just collect information from client itself and repeat the same.All clues are given by the subject himself.They just pretend to read from the leaf manuscript which is nothing but rubbish scribled by a nail.

not commenting on his accuracy, i noticed that the kind of predictions he is giving are generally sought by most Indians. mostly about the job, marriage, family and kids.

This is a very big scam. I have seen this closely and worked in this field for a while. These Naadi people knows best practice of trial and error method. You can say best statistician at any field compared. They just pull information from your mouth at every single question, in this degree, they build a pedigree based on your answers.

If he sifted through the leaves for two hours prior to the reading and no additional information was given to him then, then it appears that he would use his own talent to find the appropriate leaves. How does that make him ingenuine? If indeed much info was given away to him during the sifting of leaves, then it would not make sense to upload this video in the first place?

I have been in touch with people of naadi for a while, but not like a customer. I was participated on this action as a coordinator and despite all my thoughts about astrological predictions, predictions themselves, auras and energy stuff, I must admit that there is something about it. I was translating to one customer from English to my native language while the reader was searching. All he knew about that lady was just name. After several minutes her leaf was found. About 90% he read was true.

hey guys...believe me...this is true...even i dont trust them before i met one of these guys in Chidambaram vaitheeshwaran temple... I just walked in and gave my thumb imprint and he started reading the leaves he had and i just need to say 'yes' or 'no' . finally after 40 min my leaf was found. i was so surprised when he prdecited my name almost. The total number of letters in my name, the starting letter and ending one...thats freaking!!!!! .

he can't say my exact birthdate...instead he ended up with the month and 3 birthdates...in which one is mine.... he described my past....the failures and success i met....then my future.... i took my fiancee with me to this temple..but she was waiting outside...this guy predicted the name of her and the month we would get married....thats awesome...this costs around 1000 INR. why not give a try??

interesting. my family went to a little place in india where they did this nadi reading. all they used was my dads finger print. the guy predicted my moms names, and both grandparents. he also told us a lot about my dads life.. and he predicted two of my health illnesses. pretty much everything was right.. around 90% was right

I've watched your video and would be keen for some background, please: what info was given to the nadi reader prior to this reading? Did you present a thumb print as often happens? Did you present your date / time/ place of birth? Did the nadi reader note the time your arrived and draw up a chart for that moment? The nadi reader gives your parents' names. Was this information provided by you prior to the reading? Lastly, were any predictions made?

I am really appreciating the comments made by jchogke and especially the language expertise of vtrivikrama putting forward compelling evidence that I have in fact been conned. I would appreciate further assistance from people who know the tamil language he is singing in to confirm this.
I can also confirm that all the information he had come up with in this video he had already uncovered previously by trial and error. Except I wanted to believe so much that I did not see this obvious detail..

How could it have been uncovered if all you were supposed to answer was a yes/no? Did you give more details during the process. With just yes/no type answers theoretically it would take a very very long time to come up with all the details. For a 3 letter name, there are atleast 26*27*4 combinations of english letters of which only some can be eliminated. Without the narrowing down process, how could one leaf be identified for each person who comes.

I don't know about the credibility of this reader. But I have been to readers who took 2 -4 bundles to identify my leaf but I was careful not to say anything except yes/no. How do you think your parents name, marital status; etc could be guessed with yes/no? I do know some readers who I can call genuine with a high confidence. Based on the tamil he sings out, the English translation is also correct to a large extent. Nevertheless, I do agree that there are readers who are not genuine.

The first one I went to, I felt they might have extracted the info out of me..so I was curious and I went again...this time I made sure that I don't give out any info...
But they were accurate again...
My friend had also gone with me, but they could never find his leaf..

@wargecko he may confirm the basic information by trial and error but when he provides you written details about your life which includes what you think, what you wish, your preferences, your relations, major incidents of past life..is there a way by trial and error? my leaf was found and my persona as detailed thereby was accurate, even I thought that information he is providing was gathered during reading session but when I had details they were accurate, I do not c any reason to doubt

I doubt how could he say Aanantha namashamvathsharam is just 1974, august 8, it occurs in every 60 years, even a jothisa pandit will need to look into almanac with western calendar to confirm it, since our hindu time calculation differs, our year begins in mid april as per solar, or march as per lunar or mid march as per ayana, secondly whether if it is Tamil, or sauramanam or chandramanam or veda namam don't have the jan, feb...etc. which is western calendar .

India is notorious for 'claimimg' divine knowledge from god. They do target westerners for money- as westerners are considered 'gulable-dumb' to entire 3rd world population. The basis of my objection to the Nadi astrology is that this "predicts" only mundane information of PAST events (as on the date of reading out the palm leaves) that COULD have been obtained by fraud.

This person will not come after his parents death. He was destined to know his nadi and the text written on the nadi was for when he would come. The Maharishis who wrote this knew when the person would come to seek the nadi and wrote it according to the it. It is a hypothetical question if he 'would' come later. He could but he wont. That is destiny.

@asnair excellent question. if presumably the same set of questions are asked at two different times, the answers will have to be different in order to account for the time elapsed between the first and second consultations, especially if there have been big changes during that time. i would like to know what questions were asked - and if they are the same for everyone. i have to wonder if the information that is given to the client has been previously extracted in the course of questioning....
