There is only one man who came from heaven, came out from God and born into the world as the Son of Man and the Son of God. God manifest Himself in the Flesh. Jesus is the perfect Lamb from God to atone the sins of human race by His own Holy Blood. The Blood of Jesus which is alive & powerful to wash all sins. It reconcile men & women with God once again. Without the shedding of Blood, there is no remission of sins based on God's law. So the penalty of sin is death but Blood gives life. Test it

Carbon dating is generally accurate, but it is not infallible- in fact, it has been wrong many times due to contamination, botched process, etc. Failure to acknowledge this only indicates closed-mindedness, a rather unscientific frame of mind. The evidence is overwhelming that the corner of the Shroud which was used for radiocarbon dating was contaminated. Read Ray Rogers' peer-reviewed scientific paper in Thermochimica Acta, for starters.

Godbegone there was no paint found on it and did you even listen to the video? One of the reasons it dated only 700 years old was because of fungal growth and smoke from fires that it was around. Im sorry no im not sorry but the evidence speaks for itself that this is not a forgery. I pray you find Jesus Christ because tribulation is coming and all christians will be gone before then. All unbelievers left and the only way they can be saved then is to die for their faith.

It's apparent that people only believe it to be genuine because they want to. No amount of logical thought or evidence is going to have any effect, Because their conclusions are based on logical thought and evidence in the first place.
Whenever evidence is found that disproves this old rag to be the burial cloth of jesus they just make something up in an attempt to discredit the evidence.
Like i said in my first comment. You are forming your conslusions and then looking for the evidence.

What proof? The evidence is that it predates the C-14 test. No forger was ever named. No paint makes up the body or blood image. The blood had to be applied first because the oxidation dehydration of the linen is not present under the blood but present on the body image. Where is this proof? Is it infallible? Why does the Hungarian Pray manuscript depict the Shroud existing a century prior to the C -14 test date? ( See my video on Iconography and the Shroud of Jesus)

Until it can be shown to be only a naturalistic painting, which it has yet to be done.
The microscopic image formation by dehydrated oxidized cellulose is impossible to create on the 2 to 3 fibril deep surface of the linen (the fibers making up the threads are woven from many,many fibrils) whose discoloration is the source of the body image in negative.
As it stands, it is a likely 3 dimensional photograph of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead before He ascended into Heaven.

you misread me, friend.i am not an angry atheist.i am actually quite passive.i just hate seeing ppl thank god over ppl who actually take action. such as when my family supplied a home for my Aunt.she never thanked us once, but thanked "Jesus" for guiding her to us. you don't see the problem there? and i have found love. just not in what i don't believe exists. sorry for taking it out here. i ended up here after some conversation where i was attacked for feeling gays are equel members of society.

I'm not a practicing Catholic and I still believe it's authentic. It's at least an unreproducable representation of Christ's wounds and the price He paid for our salvation from Hell. And the Hungary prayer manuscript proves it pre-dates the abridged C-14 test in 88. As the atheists say..."Why are they always using arguments that are 20 years old?" Get up to date and do some research of your own. Shroud,dot,com is run by an orthodox Rabbi and he believes it un-natural.

Oh, yeah, alien abductions are improbable with the vast distances between the galaxies. And the Bermuda Triangle is just a rough stretch of Ocean. The Shroud however is the product of the energy of the Resurrection creating a surface phenomena that is not made by human hands. The oxidation/dehydration of the top 2 to 3 fibrils of the fibers of linen is the microscopic cause for the image, not paint,acid,powder,oils,sweat,or any other known media.

It is the most scrutinized painting in HisStory. Don't you think you should find out why this is so? Why so much interest when there are much more aesthetically pleasing paintings of Jesus? Why a photographic negative in the 14th century when photography only exists from the first part of the 19th century? Why place the blood on first, and anatomically correct, and...just read the description.
