I LOVE THESE GUYS! Usually chef couples are always subtly awkward/hostile as they present their show, but these men seem like the best of friends, it's really great to see such a fun report.
To serve four people as an appetiser it's about 400g(or 9oz) of king prawns (i've done it with just defrosted prawns too and it's nice but a bit fiddly.)
in another bowl put 100g (or4oz) of flour - it's best with gram flour which is made from ground up chick peas, but if you don't have that then strong white flour works too. Mix it up and add water so that it's a really thick batter.
Add About 110 mililletres of natural yoghurt to your flour and give it a stir so that it makes a paste.
@quizzabella add 1 teaspoon of black mustard seeds, 1 chopped green chilli ( you can get away with using red or preprepared ones or ignoring this altogether if you don't like things too hot), the zest of half a lime (or you can use lemon ) and three finely chopped spring onions. Mix it all together and heat up a pan with a decent amount of oi, coat your prawns in the mix and then fry them.so that they are golden.
Nice to know that these guys enjoyed Pakoras. I'm British Indian (and a Sikh) and it's an honour to know that people who aren't from an Asian Community enjoy our food.
@chyrd No mate lol, you've been stoned and had Mexican food and thought it was the best thing you've ever tasted! Every night man, Chinese, Indian, Steaks, Chips, KFC it tasted so fucking nice after smoking weed lol.
I never wonder if they're a couple or not (don't look like that to me though). All I know is that they are happy in what they're doing.. cooking & traveling.. what a life! Envy them :)
