Well, that's a very subjective statement since these guys have been playing for probably 15 or 20+ years. Mind you, people who take lessons often have the ability to be far more creative and string together meaningful riffs, clearly not the case in this video because Hellman's only playing scales over a generic melody. People often equate skill with speed and technique, which shouldn't be the case; it takes much more talent to write meaningful riffs than to play something blazingly fast.
